About me:
Hello, my name is Alvaro Martin. I received my primary teaching certificate two years ago from the University of Valladolid. I am also qualified as a PE teacher, lifeguard, monitor of leisure and free time, monitor of children with Special Educational Needs and a gym trainer.
I am experienced with children from 3 to 17 years old and have taught in lots of different situations, such as summer camps and extra-curricular activities.
Teaching is more than just a job for me, it is a passion. I love encouraging children to achieve their potential by stimulating their enthusiasm for learning and also their determination to succeed and the best way to do it is to enthuse them for their school.
I have a strong work ethic that includes being responsible, dedicated, talented and above all, committed to providing excellence. I have the self-confidence and energy to successfully handle difficult behaviour in a supportive and empathic way.
Achieving the highest educational standards in a caring, unpressurized, stable and supportive environment must be one of the priorities to be obtained in each of the pupils. Also they will need to know that nowadays everywhere there are people from all the nationalities and as the students see in their classes, learn other languages and knowing people from any part of the world will help them to flourish in a better way.
